Te Amo!

So far I love Barcelona!

The city has a really good vibe to it, even if the metro makes you sweat like you just did a triathlon. The symbols are also very helpful.

“The croissant! We’re taking the croissant train!”

Language wise, we’re doing much worse than Italy, which is surprising because we knew absolutely no Italian. We’ve been wishing everyone a buenos noches though, so hopefully we’re scoring some points with the locals. It also doesn’t help that me and Jasel look like we should speak Spanish so we just appear stupid or mildly slow….

ANYHOO, our hostel is lovely! Can’t beat 12 euros a night either! There’s a restaurant here that serves pretty good lasagne for 5 euros!!! We’re trying really hard to stop eating out but it’s hard…

“Aw man, I’m so bloated….hmm…I’ve been like that for quite some time….maybe I’m just fat…”

Anyhoooooos, I’m getting used to the life of an organized nomad, but I do miss my family and the simplicity of Vancouver transit. I also miss grass and trees and hot but breezy weather, although it’s colder in Barcelona than it was in Nice. That’s all for now!!!! Love you all!!

Bri-zy (I dunno why I did that…)
